No. The service provided involves receiving oath declarations and sworn statements. Certifying a certified true copy is not part of the general duties of a commissioner for oaths.

No. A commissioner for oaths is not a notary. When a document specifically requires a notary, a «Notary Public,» or a notarized document, it cannot be processed through this service.

During the videoconference, an online signature link is sent to you. The commissioner will tell you when to sign it and will assist you through this step.

Your sworn document is normally returned to you in PDF format. at the end of the session, after you have signed it and the commissioner has completed the ASsermentation section.

Yes. The commissioner adds a note to the document stating that the assermentation was performed remotely or using technology.

The commissioner remains available in videoconference during five minutes after the scheduled time.

After this period, the appointment is considered to have been completed.

If you are absent, the appointment is considered completed. You must make a new reservation to attend another appointment session.

Before appointment, check your camera, microphone, Internet connection, and email access.

If a technical issue attributable to Assermentation Pro prevents the session from taking place, a rescheduling at no charge or, depending on the situation, a full refund will be offered.
